Rising among Oman’s highest peaks, Jabal Akhdar is a landscape shaped by altitude, tradition and season. Each spring, its terraces bloom with the celebrated Omani rose, hand-harvested and distilled over wood fire using methods passed down through generations — an enduring tradition that inspired Dejan. As the seasons turn, the mountain transforms. Fig trees come into fruit and the slopes deepen into shades of green, a landscape that became the inspiration for Wanderlust.
